There's a New Sheriff in Town

I have been waiting to do this manicure for a looong time. I bought this Konad plate weeks ago but then had to secure OPI - Russian Navy matte which I finally did. And here is the final look:

I used China Glaze - 2030 to stamp with. I adore chrome stamped on matte. It' s like my favorite thing ever! I wish that the badge came out crisper. In person it doesn't look bad but this zoomed close-up shot doesn't flatter it.

I love the little gun!

Happy Friday!

  1. Fantastic. The "Bang!" is what really sells it. Reminds me of Bugs Bunny/Road Runner cartoons. Or play guns where you'd play with them, and yell "BANG" and tell your friend to fall over. But they wouldn't, they'd say you missed them and you'd chase them all over the yard yelling "no I shot you you cheater." Then you'd get into a yelling fight (girls) or fist fight (boys, maybe girls too) and your mom would come out and break it up and send your friend home. And you'd scream at your friend that you weren't friends anymore until they couldn't hear you any longer, but then the next day you'd do the same thing over again.

Good grief. Can you tell I have a cold and the cold meds are getting to me? That and my son & I just read Diary of a Wimpy Kid together, and that kind of stuff is happening in my house on a regular basis. Perhaps this just demonstrates how nail polish can have a profound effect on our psyche. Hmm. Or not. :P

  5. Wow! I love what you did with the stamping! I don't really like mattes (however, I adore the Suedes!) but you made this one look great :)
